The successful candidate will spend their time both in the field on project sites or in the laboratory conducting materials testing, with further responsibilities assigned dependent upon level of experience and proficiency.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Executing on site concrete tests which includes casting cylinders, slump test, and air content test</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">In Place Density testing using a Nuclear Densometer</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Carry out asphalt and concrete coring</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Collecting soil and asphalt samples on site</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Some in-lab work, such as testing concrete cylinders, grain size analysis, Proctor tests, asphalt tests, geotechnical index testing, etc.</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Subgrade field reviews</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Problem solving of project site issues</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Attend staff and project meetings when requested</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf1\">Interaction with clients and contractors to provide excellent service and a quick response to their testing needs</span>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Completion of, or current enrollment in, a recognized Civil Engineering Technology diploma program is considered an asset</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete, asphalt, and soil testing</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Ability to work safely and effectively in field environments on active construction sites</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and client groups</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Valid Canadian driver’s license</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Highly organized with strong time management skills</span></li><li class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required</span><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>The hourly range for this role is between (<strong>$26 - $29/hr).</strong> The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.<br>&nbsp;</p><div><div><p><span class=\"x2kd x1a\"><strong>EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
