Description
The Manager inspects the assigned areas ensuring compliance with the established cleaning standards. Determines cleaning effectiveness by staff and assesses the need for special cleaning. Reports items in need of repair or unsatisfactory condition. Demonstrates ability to interview, hire, schedule, assign work to and evaluate the work performance of employees supervised. Prepares productivity reports, monitors/maintains all work scheduling of Environmental Service Technicians and Supervisors. Completes quality control inspections and audits. Completes employee performance evaluations in a timely manner. Linen responsibilities include collecting and interacting with linen process. Flexing of work schedules when necessary to adhere to the needs of the department. Manager on Call for weekends once every 6 weeks. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop teams, fostering a collaborative and engaged work environment. Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information to all levels of staff and stakeholders.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees, management, and other departments.
Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational issues and make quick, informed decisions.
Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
