This role involves performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, carrying out scheduled maintenance, and repairing or replacing parts as necessary.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Scheduled for work to meet Customer Support Agreements with ASCENDUM’s representative coverage territory:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform services on equipment as outlined by the Support Agreement.    <ol>      <li>Change filters and fluids based on specific intervals.</li>      <li>Inspect and take pictures/videos of equipment operation, damage, and repairs.</li>      <li>Check all applicable safety-related items, such as seatbelt operation &amp; expiration date, mirrors, cameras, alarms, tire pressures, etc.</li>    </ol></li><li>Identify wear and tear, fluid leaks, abnormal sounds, and other potential issues during inspections.</li></ul><p><strong>Paperwork/Computer:</strong></p><ul><li>Complete all paperwork as outlined by the supervisor.</li><li>Maintain and update all computer-assigned tasks as outlined by the supervisor.</li><li>Maintain and update all pictures/videos in the system or devices provided by ASCENDUM.</li><li>Software updated on machines.</li></ul><p><strong>Communication:</strong></p><ul><li>Notify site-specific personnel of entry and departure from the worksite (job site/shop).</li><li>Notify, as outlined by the supervisor, appropriate ASCENDUM personnel of job start-ups and completions.</li></ul><p><strong>Training and Certification:</strong></p><ul><li>ASCENDUM is an MSHA Part 48 company; certification must be kept current.</li><li>ASCENDUM requires certain driving records to be maintained:    <ol>      <li>Outlined in the ASCENDUM Employee Handbook.</li>      <li>Specific supervisor regulations, company standards.</li>      <li>ASCENDUM-provided service truck/van regulations (service/logbooks as required).</li>    </ol></li><li>ASCENDUM CBT (EHS, ASCENDUM Learning, etc.).</li><li>VOLVO service training, CBT, and ILT.</li><li>Other product line service/parts-specific training, CBT, and ILT.</li></ul><p><strong>Company Assets:</strong></p><ul><li>Technician will be provided a service truck/van, laptop, mobile phone, diagnostic tooling, etc.</li><li>Responsible for tracking and upkeep of all assets provided.</li></ul>",
