This role manages training, monitors safety performance, conducts incident investigations, and enforces compliance across staff and vendors.</span></p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 8pt;\"><strong>Detailed Description:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Ensure compliance with all applicable <strong>U.S. Department of Transportation</strong>, <strong>Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration</strong>, and other regulatory requirements.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Oversee Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and monitor electronic logging devices (ELDs).</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Conduct and document vehicle inspections, maintenance records, and DOT audits.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Conducts transportation incident investigations, gathers and analyzes relevant information, and implements appropriate corrective actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Train drivers and field personnel on DOT regulations, company transportation policies, and safety procedures.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Support internal and external regulatory audits and inspections.</span></p></li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Maintain compliance records for fleet vehicles, trailers, and drivers.</span></li><li style=\"color: black; margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\"><span>Assist with transportation risk assessments and route planning for heavy haul or oversize loads.</span></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 8pt;\"><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p><span style=\"color: black;\">Excellent knowledge of FMCSA regulation and DOT compliance</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"color: black;\">Excellent knowledge of operational needs around vehicle /equipment&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">High School Diploma or GED</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">CDL-A Commercial Driver’s License with minimum of 5 years’ driving experience</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">3 years’ experience in a DOT compliance role</li></ul><hr><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\"><strong>Additional Details:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\"><span>Demonstrates the ability to make sound, accurate, and timely decisions, supported by clear reasoning and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
