[MP]</p>\n<p><b>ATTENTION: If you have already applied to the original posting, you do not need to reapply.&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p><b>Provide a comprehensive resume that includes all relevant experience, course work, training, certifications and accreditations that establish your qualifications for the position as detailed in the Minimum Qualifications and Requirements section of this posting.&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p><b>Job Summary:&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>This position functions as a team member or individual to perform technical, manual and administrative activities required to install, inspect, test, maintain, repair and calibrate instrumentation gauges, meters, relays, communication equipment, electronic and electrical controls and investigate and correct problems with station equipment and controls.</p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Installing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing and calibrating instruments, gauges, meters, relays, communication equipment, electronic and electrical controls and associated equipment at a power station.</li>\n <li>Investigating, collecting data, testing, making recommendations and preparing reports on unusual problems with various station equipment and controls.</li>\n <li>Interpreting and analyzing reports of other system failures; redesign problem areas; preparing recommendations; and providing assistance for modifications.</li>\n <li>Conducting various tests such as: stack emissions, river thermal, heat rate, condenser and pulverize performance, etc.; analyzing results; making recommendations; and preparing reports.</li>\n <li>Investigating malfunctions and repairing all input instrumentation.</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting and repairing problems from relay level circuitry through microprocessor-based systems.</li>\n <li>Using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to troubleshoot control problems.</li>\n <li>Utilizing equipment technical manuals, equipment vendor contracts and corporate technical contacts to assist with troubleshooting equipment.</li>\n <li>Reading prints, control, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) logic and other equipment functional diagrams.</li>\n <li>Coordinating the purchase of non-stock materials.</li>\n <li>Assisting in the review of spare parts inventory to cost effectively minimize equipment downtime and assure high plant availability.</li>\n <li>Assisting in the preparation of budgets.</li>\n <li>Performing other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidates may apply and be considered provided they have attained any one or more of the following:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology</li>\n   <li>Three years of experience as a certified Journeyman - Electronics Mechanic, Electronic Systems Technician or Electrical Instrument Repairer</li>\n   <li>Military experience, applicable to the equipment and measuring and controlling devices specified in the job summary, from any branch of the United States Armed Services</li>\n   <li>Three years' experience related to the equipment and measuring and controlling devices specified in the job summary in a power producing utility or other process-related industry including, but not limited to the paper mill industry, airline industry, chemical and Petro-Chemical industries</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Must pass Edison Electric Institute (EEI) POSS B/MASS and Technician Occupations Selection System (TECH) tests and the Ramsay I&amp;C exam&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to wear personal protective equipment.</li>\n <li>Able to work at heights, in confined spaces and in temperature extremes.</li>\n <li>Able to walk, stand, climb and bend frequently.</li>\n <li>Able to lift light to medium loads. &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Working Hours:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>&nbsp;Shift work may be required.&nbsp; Overtime, holidays and weekends.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>EEI Testing</b><br><br>\n  We administer selection tests for a variety of positions.
