    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Transportation Management Coordinator for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 for the Logistics Operations Division on Colorado Springs, CO. \n<strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate and manage day-to-day transportation movements utilizing the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) in support of USASMDC operations.</li>\n <li>Process and track transportation requests through the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and Army transportation management portals.</li>\n <li>Plan, coordinate execute strategic and operational movement of personnel, equipment and supplies.</li>\n <li>SME for Data Management and System Operations.</li>\n <li>Integrate with logistics and operational planning.</li>\n <li>Prepare transportation documentation including movement orders, shipping instructions, and manifests for personnel and equipment movement.</li>\n <li>Liaise with installation transportation offices, carriers, and SDDC representatives to arrange and confirm movement requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain transportation logs, track shipment status, and report movement execution to the transportation management team.</li>\n <li>Coordinate air, ground, and sea lift requirements for equipment fielding, exercises, and contingency operations.</li>\n <li>Assist in developing and updating transportation SOPs, contingency plans, and supporting documentation.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with DoD and Army transportation regulations, hazardous cargo requirements (HAZMAT), and host nation procedures.</li>\n <li>Support senior transportation managers with briefing preparation and logistics reporting.</li>\n <li>Perform other transportation coordinator duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Army or DoD transportation coordination, movement control, or logistics operations.</li>\n <li>Prior service as an Army 88N (Transportation Management Coordinator) or equivalent MOS strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of the Defense Transportation System (DTS), Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), Transportation Coordinator Automated for Movement System (TC-AIMS II), and HAZMAT regulations.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with AR 55-series transportation regulations and DoD transportation policies.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Active Secret security clearance required.</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship required.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting Army program offices, USASMDC, or other Army special mission organizations.</li>\n <li>HAZMAT transportation certification (49 CFR) and military shipping documentation proficiency.</li>\n <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related field.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Job Location: </strong>Peterson Space Force Base/Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO 80840 \n<strong>Physical Requirements:</strong>Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
