Please contact us to request accommodation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Nova is an Equal Opportunity Employer<strong>, </strong>including disability/veterans</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Responsibilities\n<ul>\n <li>Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination.</li>\n <li>Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.</li>\n <li>Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.</li>\n <li>Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.</li>\n <li>Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.</li>\n <li>Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.</li>\n <li>Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.</li>\n <li>Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.</li>\n <li>Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.</li>\n <li>Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.</li>\n <li>Dedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs.</li>\n <li>Ensures accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.</li>\n <li>Ensures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork.</li>\n <li>Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional/different hours/shifts when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Ability to consistently deliver quality care in a busy clinical environment.</li>\n <li>Takes action to assist in other areas and to do what is needed to ensure an excellent patient experience.</li>\n <li>Seeks out opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development in order to consistently provide quality care.</li>\n <li>Effectively communicates with all patients, clients, supervisors and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.</li>\n <li>Listens to and understands internal and external client needs in order to act and address.</li>\n <li>Committed to personal excellence and understands how daily work contributes to center operation as a whole.</li>\n <li>Holds self and others accountable. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>Qualifications\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors’ degree in related health field from an accredited college or university</li>\n <li>Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program)</li>\n <li>Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)</li>\n <li>Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice</li>\n <li>Must maintain work state physician assistant licensure throughout the course of employment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Job-Related Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Job-Related Skills/Competencies</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Novaa Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility</li>\n <li>Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions</li>\n <li>Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism</li>\n <li>The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies</li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of laws and regulations that govern delivery of rehabilitation services</li>\n <li>Knowledge of worker’s compensation and clinical procedures and all processes involved in the delivery of quality care.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education</li>\n</ul>",
