Situated on a beautiful 26-acre wooded campus north of Houston, our facility provides highly specialized inpatient rehabilitation and long-term care services for individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions.</p><p data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"901\">Our programs include the Rise Program, focused on intensive neurological rehabilitation, and the Life Care Program, designed to support individuals requiring long-term residential care. At Nexus, we are committed to compassionate, interdisciplinary care that helps patients regain function, independence, and quality of life &mdash; because we&rsquo;re mending minds.</p><hr data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"906\"><h1 data-section-id=\"s3d4c3\" data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"928\">Position Summary</h1><p data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1295\">The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) performs a variety of advanced clinical duties involved in assessing, treating, controlling, and preventing illness and disease within the facility. The FNP provides general medical care and treatment to patients/residents under the direction of the Medical Director and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.</p><p data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1529\">This role participates in the observation, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, evaluation, rehabilitation, patient education, and ongoing medical management of adults with complex neurological, behavioral, and rehabilitation needs.</p><hr data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1534\"><h1 data-section-id=\"1kllga6\" data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1575\">Essential data-end=\"2668\">Prescribes and administers medications and treatments in accordance with Texas APRN regulations and facility guidelines.</li><li data-section-id=\"fsa85c\" data-start=\"2669\"
