This is a contract opportunity supporting onsite deployment activities in Upper Saddle River, NJ.  As a consultant you are eligible for some benefits.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking experienced and professional <strong>Windows 11 Deployment Technicians</strong> to support a large-scale desktop and laptop refresh initiative. This role will focus on hardware replacement, Windows 11 upgrades, troubleshooting, and end-user support. Candidates must have prior Windows 11 upgrade experience and be comfortable working independently after initial training.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with onsite teams to minimize business disruption.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This will be a contract opportunity (9-11 weeks)</p>\n<p>The offering pay is $35/hr.</p>\n<p>Onsite: M-F</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform <strong>physical replacement of incompatible desktops and laptops</strong> as part of a structured refresh project</li>\n <li>Execute <strong>Windows 11 upgrades</strong> on compatible devices</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot upgrade failures and perform remediation to ensure successful deployment</li>\n <li>Transfer user data and validate application functionality post-upgrade</li>\n <li>Coordinate with site teams and end users to minimize downtime and operational disruption</li>\n <li>Document device status, deployment progress, and update asset management systems accurately</li>\n <li>Lift and transport equipment (up to 30 lbs as needed) during device replacement activities</li>\n <li>Diagnose and resolve Windows 11 configuration, driver, and compatibility issues</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Min</h2>\n<h2>Max</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior hands-on experience performing <strong>Windows 11 upgrades and device refresh projects</strong></li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills related to OS upgrades, drivers, user profiles, and application compatibility</li>\n <li>Experience replacing desktops and laptops in enterprise environments</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently after initial direction and training</li>\n <li>Professional, mature demeanor with strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively independently</li>\n <li>Experience updating asset management or ticketing systems</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p>“Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process, communication with a live person, and a signed offer letter.”</p>\n<p>“Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.”</p>",
