We're looking for an Intermediate or Senior Municipal Engineer to join our growing team. We’re large enough to compete head-to-head with publicly traded engineering giants, but still small enough to maintain the culture and flexibility of a close-knit team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our size and hands-on management style let us move quickly, embrace new opportunities, and empower our people to shape their own careers—without getting lost in corporate bureaucracy.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You’re an ideal candidate if you have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers Geoscientists New Brunswick (APEGNB)</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for work related travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">A typical day on the job might look like:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading and managing civil engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and within scope\n<ul>\n<li>municipal and transportation infrastructure,</li>\n<li>commercial and residential subdivision land development,</li>\n<li>site grading and mass detailed site earthworks for underground services</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Preparation of stamped engineering drawings, quality assurance/control specifications and quantity estimates issued for tender and construction project administration.</li>\n<li>Storm water modelling and management civil design.</li>\n<li>Organizing/carrying out construction quantity surveying / field inspections.</li>\n<li>Developing and maintaining strong client relationships</li>\n<li>Preparing proposals and supporting business development initiatives</li>\n<li>Participating in the implementation and adaptation of existing Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines in the execution of all project work.</li>\n<li>Acting in support of other GEMTEC offices when needed to complete projects.</li>\n<li>Performing other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The good stuff you get:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time (37.5 hours per week)</li>\n<li>Complete health &amp; dental coverage including vision, paramedical services, and Teladoc</li>\n<li>Retirement planning made easier with a 5% employer match on your contributions</li>\n<li>Paid time off (vacation and sick days) plus Employee &amp; Family Assistance Program when you need it</li>\n<li>Office year-end closure (paid time off between Christmas and the New Year)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your background and what you bring: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in civil engineering practice</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with a commitment to quality.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 (or newer version)</li>\n<li>Experience with ArchGIS and/or QGIS software platforms would be considered an asset, as would experience with hydraulic modeling software suites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Interested individuals, click here to apply:<a href=\"https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/271\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/271</a></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Thank you for taking the time to consider GEMTEC.
