Today, Relief International is comprised of Relief International, Inc., Relief International-France, Relief International-UK and Relief International-Europe, all of which are led by a single senior leadership team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:</span></p>\n<p>Facilitate achievement of the medical objectives to reduce morbidity and mortality by provision of emergency healthcare services to refugee populations in Maban County.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Officer.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Medical / Technical</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide consultations with diagnosis and treatment of illnesses based on the guidelines of South Sudan and focusing on IECHC</li>\n<li>Prescribe medications and instruct patients on correct usage</li>\n<li>Provide patient education and instruct on prevention methods for illness, proper nutrition, and hygiene</li>\n<li>Compile weekly and monthly reports required by the Ministry of Health as well as UNHCR and provide to health manager or team leader</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aiming to achieve the highest quality programming possible within the challenging context of South Sudan</li>\n<li>Ensure all patients are treated based on the Guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the IECHC guidelines</li>\n<li>Upholding internal values at all times, both within and outside working hours</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">External Representation.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Representation in relevant meetings in South Sudan as requested</li>\n<li>Meeting with NGO partners, the CHD, local authorities and local partners as requested</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Logistics</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist dispenser and other clinic staff in preparing stock requests each day to provide to the health team</li>\n<li>Ensure all stocks required are in the clinic at all times or ensure that the health team is aware of the stock out</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Policy compliance – Mandatory Reporting Policy (MRP):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure any violations of the RI Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Code of Conduct are reported to the Program Manager. The reporting of violations is an obligation on the part of all staff members.</li>\n<li>Assist where necessary in undertaking activities that aim to prevent the occurrence of sexual abuse and exploitation of beneficiaries by RI and other humanitarian workers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification and Minimum Requirements: </span></p>\n<p>Applicants should.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in clinical medicine from a recognized training Institution</li>\n<li>Have at least 2 years working experience preferably in a resource limited and hostile environment setting. Previous working experience in an INGO setting is an added advantage</li>\n<li>have excellent interpersonal communication skills</li>\n<li>have very good record keeping, accurate reporting skills</li>\n<li>be able to work on multiple tasks and in difficult situation and meet deadlines.</li>\n<li>be able to speak and write in English and Arabic</li>\n<li>Able to work with minimum supervision</li>\n<li>be computer literate especially Excel and Word packages</li>\n<li>Experience working in refugee settings in South Sudan</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">GENERAL CONDITIONS<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant must not be a person with criminal records or have been convicted of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Sexual Harassment and Child Abuse cases.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">We would like to share Relief International's values with you:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>We uphold the Humanitarian Principles: humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and operational independence.
