Position Overview: The Operations Administrator at Pref-Tech will be responsible assisting the Project Managers and operations staff with any administrative functions including but not limited to issuing purchase orders, creating project documentation such as data submittals, O&M manuals, and warranty documents. This role would be considered for Austin, Houston or Dallas. Key Responsibilities: Procurement: Enter Purchase Orders for Project Managers after they have sent you the BOM (Bill of Materials) Track Order Confirmations Vendor Information  Liaise with Accounting team to ensure operations team compliance with the following: Interface with AP regarding material procurement, receipt, and handling Assist with pay apps Enable assist with end-of-project closeout deliverables (warranties, O&M manuals, etc.) Enable/assist PMs with project deliverables (product data submittals, job-specific safety certs, job specific badging, etc.) Schedule and maintain training records Backup to Warehouse Associate (general receiving duties as needed) Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. At least 3 years relevant administrative experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to hold others accountable to completing their assigned tasks, even if they hold positions of greater responsibility. Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools. Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
