    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Maintenance Tech&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>SUMMARY</u></strong>: Performs specific carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and appliance repairs in residential apartment communities by performing the following duties:</p><p><strong><u>&nbsp;ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong>: are listed below and will always include those specifically assigned by the immediate supervisor.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in completing the turn-key apartment renovations and make ready process.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Performs work in response to Maintenance Service Requests.</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Performs all general repair and maintenance related to the interior and exterior of the apartment community, including drywall and painting.</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Sets up and operates machine tools such as a grinder, drill, power saw, and other</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Power-tools.</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Repairs cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, and other wood structures.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage.</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Repairs fences, gates, walls and walkways.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining inventory and inventory controls.</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Participates in after hours and emergency response.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong>: This position has limited supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><strong><u>&nbsp;QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong>: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
