As a team, we continually embrace our core values: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Passion:</strong> We love helping others succeed.<strong>Excellence:</strong> We strive to be the best.<strong>Adaptability:</strong> We learn, in part by trying new ideas.<strong>Accountability:</strong> We own our results.<strong>Integrity:</strong> We do the right thing. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<p>The Lab Assistant supports student academic success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works in conjunction with the Program Director and instructor to coordinate instructional lab sessions.</li>\n <li>Assists students with hands-on lab sessions.</li>\n <li>Assists instructors with instructional components of lab sessions.</li>\n <li>Educates students on proper hazardous waste disposal and ensures storage and disposal align with OSHA and campus safety protocols.</li>\n <li>Enforces lab safety codes in all lab areas to assure student and colleague safety.</li>\n <li>Communicates professionally with the Program Director regarding laboratory maintenance and supply inventory for restocking and ordering.</li>\n <li>Efficiently sets up and breaks down lab sessions.</li>\n <li>Performs assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner and with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>At Arizona College, we believe in a collaborative approach where all colleagues work together towards our shared goals. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certificate or Diploma in Dental Assisting preferred (not required).</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of dental materials, equipment and infection control protocols.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to support students in an encouraging and supportive manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Nice to have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience in a dental office or clinical setting.</li>\n <li>Teaching experience in secondary education.</li>\n <li>CPR certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Are Offering You:</h2>*",
