    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>SSM Health Rehabilitation Network -Acute Care</strong></p>\n<p><em>DePaul Health Center - Bridgeton, MO</em></p>\n<p><strong>PRN / Physical Therapist</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Tier I - $47 (plus weekend differential) - 1 shift per month (one must be weekend shift) - 1 holiday/weekend prior or after (managers discretion)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Tier II - $52 (plus weekend differential) - 3 shifts per month (at least 2 must be weekend shifts) - One summer and one winter holiday/weekend prior or after (managers discretion)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The DePaul Ministry of SSM Health is accredited by The Joint Commission as a Center of Excellence for Total Joint Replacement and a Comprehensive Center of Excellence for Stroke.  DePaul serves the north and northwest St Louis County area in Missouri and our neighbors to the east in Illinois.  Our diverse and progressive therapy department participates in research and program advancement throughout the 450 bed hospital.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>**We have been recognized numerous times by the St. Louis Post Dispatch as one of the \"Top Workplaces\" in St. Louis!**</strong></p>\n<p><strong> **</strong><strong>Select Medical, Missouri, has been recognized by<em> Forbes</em> as one of America's Best-In-State Employers!**</strong></p>\n<p><em><strong>This is an excellent opportunity to be considered for Full Time Physical Therapy positions when they come available throughout the year.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.</li>\n <li>Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.</li>\n <li>Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities. </li>\n <li>Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. </li>\n <li>Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.</li>\n <li>Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
