Our people truly are our greatest asset!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The IT Infrastructure and Operations Engineer is mission-driven: he has experience with a set of engineering practices for running safe and reliable production systems - design for operability and security, and working with a breadth of tools and approaches to solve a broad spectrum of problems.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Your responsibilities will be as follows:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Primary Accountability </span></em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The IT Infrastructure and Operations has the responsibility of building, running and maintaining the platform on which Utmost Luxembourg is relying. This means a strong involvement in incidents/problem resolution.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Incident response and resolution: when incidents occur, you are responsible for responding promptly, diagnosing the problem, debugging, and implementing appropriate solutions to minimize downtime and restore services;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Collaboration with cross-functional teams: work closely with other teams, to understand their requirements, provide support, and ensure smooth operations of the whole platform;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Documentation and knowledge sharing: maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices is crucial. You collaborate with colleagues to share insights and enhance the overall team knowledge;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Incident post-mortems and continuous improvement: after resolving incidents, conduct post-mortem reviews to identify root causes, document findings, and suggest improvements to prevent similar incidents in the future. Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability and resilience;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Security and compliance management: collaborate with security teams to ensure security controls and compliance requirements are met. Implement security measures, apply patches, and perform vulnerability assessments to protect against potential threats.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Other Duties </span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Infrastructure monitoring and alert management: monitor the infrastructure components, such as servers, virtual machines, network and security assets, containers, and cloud resources, to ensure their health and availability. Respond to alerts and take necessary actions to resolve issues promptly;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Configuration management and automation: use configuration management systems or infrastructure-as-code to manage and automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure resources. Maintain consistent configurations, track changes, and automate repetitive tasks;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Capacity planning and resource optimization: analyse resource usage trends, forecast future demand, and plan accordingly. Optimize resource allocation, scale infrastructure, and recommend improvements to meet performance requirements;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Disaster recovery: work on disaster recovery strategy and implement mechanisms to ensure data and service availability in case of disasters or failures. In particular, we appreciate if you have knowledge in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">any</span> of the following:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Technical skills</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">VMWare Ecosystem (vCenter, ESXi, Inventory and VM management, VRealize operations)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Storage (Traditional or Hyperconverged) and Backup systems (preferably CommVault)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of Openshift is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Windows Server Management (Exchange, File Servers, ADFS, etc...)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Active directory management, DNS, DHCP, GPO…</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Linux Servers Management (Redhat satellite)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Citrix ecosystem</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Storage (Traditional or Hyperconverged) and Backup systems (preferably CommVault)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Network and Security (Switching, Routing, Firewalling, Load-Balancing, WAF…)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitoring tools experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Job scheduling, Automation (OpCon)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash and/or Python would be an asset.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Education and soft-skills</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proven work experience in engineering, or a similar role with a focus on reliability and scalability,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and capable of adapting to shifting and evolving business priorities,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Quick learner, with strong troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills and enjoying technical challenges,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Autonomous and solution oriented.
