    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Business Analyst</strong></p>\n<p>Onsite | Washington, DC| 5 Days a Week </p>\n<p>Active Top Secret Clearance Required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment. </li>\n <li>Facilitate the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered. </li>\n <li>Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement. </li>\n <li>Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories; document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed. </li>\n <li>Provide consultation on complex projects while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>4-6 years of experience gathering and analyzing business requirements supporting application development leveraging end-user requirements and decomposing those into well-structured requirements (epics/stories)</li>\n <li>Confidently communicating and validating requirements with relevant stakeholders</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of requirements management tools (Such as JIRA, TFS, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. </li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. </li>\n <li>Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree (in English, Literature, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Psychology or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Other Duties</strong>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
