We know how hard it can be to get to a lab for those with limited mobility, severe health conditions, and for those with lack of transportation. We are looking for experienced mobile phlebotomists to join our <strong>HOME DRAW</strong> team where your professional contributions truly matter while providing mobile phlebotomy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes.</p><p><br><strong>Good phlebotomists are key to AHA's success!</strong></p><p><br></p><p>· Follows established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining samples from patients.</p><p>· Properly and accurately identify all patients always according to AHA’s Phlebotomy Patient Identification Policy prior to facilitating proper collection.</p><p>· Ensures that specimens are properly labeled, in the proper tube, and accompanied by a completed requisition, prior to transport.</p><p>· Follows AHA’s phlebotomy policy on transporting PHI.</p><p>· Maintain and present a positive attitude and concern for patient and staff safety, quality patient care; consistently demonstrate these attributes in consideration of time-sensitive blood draw requirements.</p><p>· Must understand and be knowledgeable of the resident rights, patient care, and patient’s right to refuse.</p><p>· Ability to obtain blood specimens from patients under a variety of patient conditions.</p><p>· Works cooperatively with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments.</p><p>· Must possess knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to laboratory purposes.</p><p>· Knowledge of required specimen preservation, adequate patient preparation and specimen procedures.</p><p>· Must be able to work under minimal supervision.</p><p>· Maintains all equipment in good working orders and reports problems immediately to the appropriate supervisor.</p><p>· When on duty, answers company issued mobile device promptly, checks-in and checks-out of patient homes or client facilities always and is ready and available to work.</p><p>· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; take directions and conduct self in a professional manner always.</p>",
