As a <strong>Junior Design Technician</strong>, you’ll work on food service layouts and hospitality design projects, gaining hands-on experience in drafting, modeling, and site reviews while collaborating with experts who support your growth.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Operate AutoCAD and Revit to prepare engineering drawings for food service projects.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Assist in designing equipment layouts for commercial kitchens and hospitality spaces.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Coordinate with project teams, vendors, engineers, and architects to ensure seamless delivery.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Execute design directions provided by senior leaders and contribute to problem-solving efforts.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Participate in occasional site visits for design reviews and compliance checks.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Support project documentation and maintain accuracy throughout all phases.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Diploma in Interior Design, Architectural, or Engineering Technology.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">1–4 years of experience in drafting and design, preferably in food service or hospitality projects.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, including creating and modifying families and parameters.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Familiarity with hospitality operations and commercial kitchen layouts is an asset.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Eligibility for Canadian Federal Government Enhanced Reliability clearance (mandatory).</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">French language proficiency is an asset.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
