We're a team of dedicated professionals who are essential partners in detecting, diagnosing, and monitoring various diseases and conditions.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>How you’ll contribute&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;<br>A&nbsp;<strong>Phlebotomist </strong>who excels in this role:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Must work closely with all laboratory staff regarding collection, receipt, and processing of specimens in the inpatient, outpatient, and outreach locations.&nbsp;</li><li>Courteous and professional interaction with our patients, physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel using our CARING values.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for the proper collection of specimens in a manner consistent with Laboratory procedures, safe practices, and patient comfort.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Follows all hospital guidelines regarding Standard Precautions (ex. PPE, gloving, hand washing, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Must identify patients using two patient identifiers and label specimens accurately.&nbsp;</li><li>Selects the appropriate specimen collection supplies/devices (ex. tubes, proper additives, etc.&nbsp;in order to&nbsp;perform venipuncture, arterial puncture, and capillary puncture according to the Laboratory’s Phlebotomy/Specimen Collection procedure manual.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Why join us</strong>&nbsp;<br>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
