The Leasing Consultant assists current residents with their needs and works closely with other office personnel in a customer service environment. The Leasing Consultant will be expected to effectively communicate the benefits of the community and rent apartments to prospective tenants entering the community. This position requires strong organizational skills and flexibility is a must because an ordinary day can change very quickly.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </strong>include but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Maintain a professional image at all times in all weather conditions</li><li>Ability to learn the products, apartment benefits and communicate with prospective tenants</li><li>Possess confidence in themselves and products to be successful in this position</li><li>Strong and effective telephone skills</li><li>Ability to handle objections with unhappy tenants or prospects</li><li>Social Media management&nbsp;</li><li>Marketing of apartments</li><li>Coordination of community events</li><li>Working both in person and virtually with prospective residents</li><li>Customer service for 308-unit apartment community</li><li>Strong customer service skills</li><li>Must be available to work evenings and weekends</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Able to effectively and professionally communicate both orally and in writing, including over the telephone</li><li>Possess general office and keyboarding skills</li><li>Able to follow company procedures regarding proper key control</li><li>Able to handle and receipt cash</li><li>Able to learn and explain the terms of the lease</li><li>Able to learn and use various software programs</li><li>Able to comprehend and complete various reports on a weekly basis</li><li>Able to work with multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Ability to grow into and learn other skills of the real estate industry</li><li>Leasing agent will be assigned tasks that benefit the property, and this may require that the agent works outside the office in vacant apartments or on the grounds of the property</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Holladay Mission and Values:</strong> All associates are expected to live Holladay’s Mission and Values in their everyday interactions with each other, external clients, and stakeholders as defined below:</p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Mission</strong>: Enriching lives through investment and service</li><li><strong>ENRICH Values:</strong></li><li><strong>Entrepreneurial </strong>– We are empowered to dream and take risks, to challenge conventional wisdom and demand continuous improvement, to innovate, create, and inspire change.</li><li><strong>Nurture </strong>– We encourage and support the growth and development of each other, our clients, and our communities.</li><li><strong>Respect </strong>- We recognize and acknowledge the inherent value of others.</li><li><strong>Integrity </strong>– We do the right thing. To be considered, Associates must have a satisfactory performance record and have no disciplinary actions during the last twelve (12) months.
