    "requisitionDescription": "<div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><h2><strong>Position Summary</strong></h2><p>Floating childcare staff work collaboratively with lead and assistant teachers across all classrooms to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.</p><p>This role requires flexibility, as staff will frequently move between classrooms and work with various age groups. Floating staff follow the direction of the lead teacher while anticipating the needs of children throughout the day. Strong communication and teamwork are essential due to working in multiple classrooms daily.</p><hr><h2><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Assist in implementing responsive, age-appropriate curriculum tailored to children&rsquo;s needs</li><li>Greet families and children warmly at drop-off with a friendly, positive demeanor</li><li>Assist with safe and smooth transitions during pick-up times</li><li>Ensure all family communications at drop-off and pick-up are relayed to lead teachers</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment at all times</li><li>Anticipate and respond to individual child needs with care and attentiveness</li><li>Communicate regularly with the lead teacher regarding questions or concerns</li><li>Maintain a positive, professional attitude that supports a collaborative environment</li><li>Provide daily updates to the lead teacher regarding classroom needs and child development</li><li>Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and team members</li><li>Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies</li><li>Monitor classroom supplies and notify the director when items need replenishing</li><li>Participate in bi-monthly staff meetings, safety trainings, drills, and educational sessions</li><li>May be assigned to an emergency response team</li><li>Complete all DHHS training requirements</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Education Requirements</strong></h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field preferred</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Registered with Maine Roads to Quality (MRTQ), or willingness to register and complete required training</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), or be enrolled in a high school, GED, or HiSET program</li><li>Ability and willingness to comply with all applicable laws and regulations</li><li>Ability to provide safe, compassionate childcare services</li><li>Demonstrated history of honesty and lawful conduct</li><li>Strong judgment and commitment to children&rsquo;s safety and well-being</li><li>Must not engage in any actions detrimental to the welfare of children</li><li>Successful completion of all required DHHS background checks</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><ul><li>Dynamic role with frequent movement between classrooms</li><li>Flexible and team-oriented environment</li><li>Opportunity to work with children of varying ages</li></ul></div>\n",
