Hanson International works in cooperation with Lake Michigan College and the Hanson Technology Center to offer students the opportunity to serve in our long-standing, highly regarded apprenticeship program.</strong></p><p><strong>Apprentices learn alongside journeyman to machine, fit, assemble and troubleshoot the components that make up our molds. Apprentices begin by learning the fundamentals of machining and craftsmanship, and end their apprenticeship ready to excel in the world of advanced manufacturing at Hanson International.</strong></p><p><strong><em>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Study detailed prints &amp; proceed with detailed work according to print requirements.</li><li>Disassemble &amp; clean molds which may require alterations, repairs or restorations.</li><li>Set up and operate various machine tools to perform necessary machining processes.</li><li>Maintain tolerances as required by the prints or customer in the machining process.</li><li>Fit mold components together to assure tolerances are met to assure mold will function.</li><li>Manage time and complete work assignments within the quoted job time frame.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance items as listed on assigned tools and machinery.</li><li>Complete formal trade related college classroom instruction.</li><li>Miscellaneous duties as may be assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><em>CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:</em></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma with completion of algebra required.</li></ul><p><strong><em>BENEFITS:</em></strong></p><p>Hanson Mold is pleased to offer the following benefit package to our teammates:&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical/dental/vision insurance available on the date of hire.</li><li>Flexible spending account.</li><li>Short-term disability insurance.</li><li>Company paid life insurance.</li><li>401K with company contribution.</li><li>Paid time off.</li><li>10 paid holidays.</li><li>Bereavement pay.</li><li>Jury duty pay.</li><li>Overtime pay after 8 hours per day.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Hanson International pays full tuition for all college courses for the duration of the apprenticeship.</p><p>&nbsp;Hanson International is an equal opportunity employer.&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
