    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>SAFY is seeking a<strong>&nbsp;full-time Licensing</strong><strong>&nbsp;Specialist&nbsp;</strong>for our <strong>Cleveland</strong><strong>&nbsp;division in Ohio.</strong><p>As a Licensing Specialist<strong>,</strong> you will responsible for providing initial and on-going training and development for foster families and conduct/write initial and recertification home studies.</p><p><strong>Who We Are</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>At SAFY, our mission is Preserving Families &amp; Securing Futures. We are a team of 500 employees across seven states providing services such as Family Preservation &amp; Reunification, Behavioral Health, Therapeutic Foster Care, Adoption Services and Older Youth Services so the families and children we serve can build resilience and thrive.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Set your own schedule in collaboration with the team and foster parents.</li><li>This role is hybrid but initially employee will be in the office until they begin to do their work independently.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as an advocate for the Foster Families we serve.</li><li>License prospective foster homes in a 90-day time frame; and conduct re-certifications of current foster homes 30 days prior to expiration. Write home studies, training plans and assessments.</li><li>Keep all Foster Parent files in 100% compliance.</li><li>Travel throughout Cleveland and surrounding counties; up to an hour of driving one way. Overall hours being worked outside of the office is estimated to be around 50%, which includes traveling to and from homes and time spent at the home study interviews.</li><li>Generally, work 40+ hours a week based on the availability of the families we serve. <strong>There may be times when you need to work some evenings and possibly weekends. Must have reliable transportation to travel to home visits and meetings as required.
