Our comprehensive approach is tailored to each age group, addressing the mental, physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being to promote holistic healing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Full-Time, Inpatient Psychiatrist </strong>to join our skilled and patient focused team.</p>\n<p><strong>For more information, please contact Eva Fassauer at [email protected] or call/text 615-861-7410.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.</li>\n <li>Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.</li>\n <li>Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.</li>\n <li>Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. </li>\n <li>Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.</li>\n <li>Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.</li>\n <li>One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.</li>\n <li>Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board certification in psychiatry</li>\n <li>Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Our Comprehensive Treatment Network</strong> </p>\n<p> ~23,500 Employees · ~11,400 Beds · 258 Locations · 38 States · 1 Network </p>\n<p> As a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
