In this role, you&#39;ll work closely with our Corporate Category Buyer to shape our product assortment, drive supplier relationships, and help achieve our financial goals across designated product areas and brands.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate eager to <strong>grow into a buyer role</strong> within a supportive and creative environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO</strong></p><p><strong>Product Development &amp; Sourcing</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist buyers in sourcing, cost negotiations, and new product development</li><li>Coordinate the ordering, testing, and receiving of product samples</li><li>Manage samples required for creative photography shoots</li><li>Maintain and organize supplier product catalog files</li></ul><p><strong>Data &amp; Compliance Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Send, collect, and process New Product Information sheets and all applicable compliance paperwork from suppliers, ensuring accuracy at every step</li><li>Maintain and update Assortment Plans and Product Detail information</li><li>Ensure supplier compliance with quality, packaging, labeling, and governmental standards</li><li>Review all copy details &mdash; including descriptions, style numbers, and pricing &mdash; following pagination</li></ul><p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Partner with internal teams including Personalization, Customer Relations, Product Planning, E-Commerce, Creative Services, and our Distribution Center</li><li>Lead efforts to resolve quality issues and reduce returns in collaboration with the buyer and cross-functional teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</strong></p><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred</li><li>Prior experience in buying, merchandising, or a related field is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Abilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Strong attention to detail</strong> &mdash; You catch the details others miss</li><li><strong>Excellent communication skills</strong> &mdash; Both written and verbal</li><li><strong>Collaborative mindset</strong> &mdash; You thrive in a team-oriented environment</li><li><strong>Creative spirit with a customer-first approach</strong></li><li><strong>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</strong> &mdash; Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access</li><li><strong>Driven to grow</strong> &mdash; A desire to advance into a buyer position</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>WHY JOIN SILVER STAR BRANDS?</strong></p><p>At Silver Star Brands, we believe in fostering a culture of <strong>creativity, collaboration, and growth</strong>.
