We have internal support staff to assist, as well as free technical training through our factory certified in-house trainers, and in-the-field technical support!&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you.</li><li>Communicate with the Road Lead Technician on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed.</li><li>Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.</li><li>Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (timecards, maintenance reports with customers&rsquo; signature). &nbsp;</li><li>Communicate with dispatcher and/or service office as to status of jobs and availability for new jobs.</li><li>Identify jobs that should be sent to our shop for repair (due to complexity or safety reasons) and recommend they be sent in.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationship with territory sales representatives to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see.</li><li>Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Essential skills and experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have very good skills in repairing powered industrial equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience repairing forklift trucks and/or other products we represent, to include all types of gas, diesel, and electric trucks.</li><li>Must successfully complete any training courses required.</li><li>Strong customer orientation.</li><li>Must be a good communicator &ndash; written and verbal.</li><li>Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and laptop fundamentals.</li><li>Must own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and good driving record.</li><li>Must be certified to operate material handling equipment (we will train).</li><li>Commitment to company vision and mission.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>We are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and will give all qualified applicants consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
