    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Full-Time and Part-Time Day Shift Opportunities!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Performs a variety of heavier housekeeping and housecleaning duties to obtain and maintain desirable appearance, sanitary and orderly conditions throughout the entire facility's building areas, patient rooms, isolation areas, etc.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Job duties specific to this position:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works under the immediate supervision of the Manager of Support Services and from detailed instructions or prescribed or established routines.</li>\n <li>Performs all types of heavy duty cleaning as assigned, uses appropriate heavy duty commercial-type vacuums, buffing and shampoo equipment, portable applicators, scrubbing machines, mop buckets, etc.; spot cleans or completely cleans and shampoos carpet areas and furniture; scrubs, strips, wet mops, waxes or otherwise maintains non-carpeted floors and stairways; works off ladders and washes down walls, ceilings, windows, light fixtures, washes doors, mops boards, trash and laundry barrels; cleans porters closet; picks up refuse, moves heavy furniture or equipment, takes down and re-hangs drapes, etc.</li>\n <li>Cleans in isolation areas and wears appropriate mask and garb.</li>\n <li>Follows established safety and infection control practices; properly safeguards work areas, especially when mopping and waxing floors, working overhead or around patients.</li>\n <li>Reports unusual conditions to the supervisor.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, GED, or ability to pass a written TABE test.</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write and understand the English language.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow simple verbal and written directions.</li>\n <li>Good customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift or move heavy objects required.</li>\n <li>Ability to use any of the following: mops, buckets, cleaning solutions, vacuum cleaners, utility carts, floor cleaning machines, wet/dry vacuums and any other equipment used in the ordinary pursuit of the department objective.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motions.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS</strong></p>\n<p>The Cycle Cleaner may be exposed to odors, medical wastes, disease and unsanitary conditions.</p>\n<p><strong>SCOPE & TYPE OF SUPERVISION: </strong></p>\n<p>The Cycle Cleaner does not have any supervisory responsibilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Benefits/Compensation</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Pay Range $19.30 - $19.66 / hour</li>\n <li>Excellent medical, dental, prescription and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Disability coverage</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>401(k) Retirement/Pension Plans</li>\n <li>Discounted Gym Membership</li>\n <li>Paid Time-Off Accrual</li>\n <li>Fun events for employees</li>\n <li>Convenient locations with free parking</li>\n <li>Employee Coaches - to help you achieve life goals</li>\n <li>Diaper Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Opportunity for career growth and movement within 19 sites</li>\n</ul>",
