    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">The Actors Fund Home</span></strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">, an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub-acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a <em>CMS Five Star Rating</em>, seeks a <strong>Full-Time Program Coordinator</strong> to help develop, implement, manage and continuously improve a comprehensive activities program for our residents. Programs are designed to meet the social, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of our residents.<strong>&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>JOB DUTIES</strong></span><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Develop and implement recreational programs for residents in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods; programs may consist of group, individual, and/or independent activities.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Responsible for a specific neighborhood and all recreation related tasks for the neighborhood including creating meaningful activity ideas for residents.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Prepare Activities Calendars.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Coordinate with the Recreation team on programming.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Occasionally attend resident care plan meetings.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Work with volunteers and community organizations on programming.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Maintain departmental paperwork and documentation.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">All members of the team are expected to understand and carry out The Home&rsquo;s policies and procedures for safe care of residents during programs and practice appropriate safety measures to prevent infection, accidents, or injury.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Associate&#39;s degree required; Bachelor&#39;s degree&nbsp;preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a therapeutic recreation and/or senior activities role; experience working with persons with dementia is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Dance/movement experience with a geriatric population strongly preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Possesses strong communication and organizational skills.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Demonstrated experience with Zoom, Facetime and/or Skype.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Proficiency with MS Office and technology.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Must be able to transport residents in wheelchair to in-house activities and drive the facility vehicles to events when needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Must have a driver&rsquo;s license and a clean driver&rsquo;s record.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>OTHER QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Passion to work with seniors and a willingness to learn.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Must be a cooperative team player, demonstrate initiative in problem solving, and consistently follow through with tasks.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Must be able to pass the facility&rsquo;s physical examination upon employment and annually thereafter.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to understand and comply with applicable Federal, State and local recreation</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Regulations and requirements.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>ABOUT THIS POSITION</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">This is a <strong>Full-Time (40-Hour)&nbsp;</strong>hourly position based at The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ.
