    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <p><strong>What’s In It For You:</strong></p>\n <p><strong>Bonus:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>$750 Sign-on bonus&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must maintain at least 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)</li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong>Extra Cash:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Earn shift differentials from $0.50 to $3.00 per hour depending on shift</li>\n  <li>Earn additional pay incentives up to $5/hour for picking up additional, non-scheduled shifts</li>\n </ul>\n <p>This position is available for Full-Time (PM shift), Part-Time (PM shift), or On-Call.</p>\n <p>PM (B Shift) is 2:00pm - 10:30pm</p>\n <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong><br>\n  This position provides medical care for residents to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times within a safe environment; assists with activities of daily living, offers emotional and social support, and attends residents overall physical comfort and well-being; also provides communication between medical providers, family members, and facility team for coordination of care.<br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;</strong><br><i>The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned.</i></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Assists and participates in development of total care plan of residents with physician, psychiatrist, nurses and allied therapists.</li>\n  <li>Participates in providing nursing care for residents.</li>\n  <li>Assists in rehab programs and bowel and bladder training programs.</li>\n  <li>Observes and reports on residents' physical and mental condition; obtains vital signs.</li>\n  <li>Keeps patient records and reports according to policy.</li>\n  <li>Provides leadership and directs functions of Certified Nursing Assistants.</li>\n  <li>Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and appointment scheduling.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Notifies charge nurse of any change in patient condition.</li>\n  <li>Investigates and reports any allegations of abuse or caregiver misconduct and ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity.</li>\n  <li>Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physician and psychiatrist.</li>\n  <li>Contacts medical provider and family of residents related to change of condition or concerns.</li>\n  <li>Receives MD orders, makes rounds with MD's, transcribes orders, and communicates orders to nursing staff and pharmacy.</li>\n  <li>Assists in care and monitoring of IV's per facility policy.</li>\n  <li>Monitors and assists residents with psycho-social events.</li>\n  <li>Provides support, information or education to residents or family members as needed.</li>\n  <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Knowledge of the principles, standards, practices and techniques of skilled nursing.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of the dangers inherent in and precautions to be taken in the use of drugs and other medication.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of local and state rules, regulations, procedures and policies pertaining to nursing services.</li>\n  <li>Ability to assign, instruct, and supervise the work of professional and nonprofessional staff.</li>\n  <li>Ability to accurately maintain patient medical records and prepare required reports.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of electronic records systems.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of PPE and its proper use for personal safety measures.</li>\n  <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and assure resident rights and privacy are protected at all times per HIPAA.</li>\n  <li>Ability to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, respect, and personal interest, as well as a clean environment.</li>\n  <li>Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing, with residents, families, the public and staff.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must be able to exhibit a warm, cheerful caring manner.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>General knowledge of standard office procedures, practices, equipment and office assistance techniques.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of County and department programs and policies.</li>\n  <li>Ability to work the allocated hours of the position.</li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Ability to communicate appropriately/professionally.</li>\n  <li>Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the staff, supervisor, and the public.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must be proficient in workplace English and spelling.</li>\n  <li>Ability to read County policies and procedures;
