GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
At Stancil Services, the final stage of plumbing installation is where precision and craftsmanship truly stand out. The Trim Foreman – Plumbing leads trim/finish crews in completing fixture installations, ensuring all work is performed accurately, neatly, and to Stancil’s high standards of quality and presentation.
This position is responsible for overseeing finish plumbing tasks, coordinating daily workflow, verifying code-compliant installations, maintaining a safe and organized jobsite, and guiding team members through the details that make each project “customer ready.” The Trim Foreman plays a key leadership role on site and works closely with the Plumbing Field Manager to ensure successful, polished project completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead daily trim/finish plumbing installations including faucets, valves, toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, disposers, and specialty fixtures.
Interpret finish diagrams, installation instructions, and plumbing plans; communicate requirements to crew members.
Verify that all trim installations are level, aligned, secure, and functioning properly.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and plumbing code.
Conduct quality checks on fixture installations, caulking, test results, and system performance.
Coordinate material needs, track inventory on site, and communicate upcoming requirements to supervision.
Identify and resolve field conflicts involving fit, finishes, or fixture compatibility.
Oversee completion of punch list work, adjustments, corrections, or warranty-related finish tasks.
Protect jobsite finishes such as tile, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and paint surfaces.
Perform camera inspections of all toilets and interior cleanouts, continuing through the yard cleanout and city connection to the main sewer line at the street, to verify drainage lines are clear of debris and free of damage.
Maintain a clean, organized jobsite and enforce cleanup responsibilities among crew members.
Train and coach team members in proper installation, tool use, safety, and finish craftsmanship.
Collaborate with other trades to ensure integrated, seamless installation.
Communicate progress updates and field issues to site management on a daily basis.
Represent Stancil Services professionally in all jobsite interactions.
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High school diploma or equivalent (GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, or foreign equivalent).
Plumbing experience preferred, with strong demonstrated trim/finish expertise.
Thorough understanding of finish plumbing materials, fixture installation methods, and code requirements.
Ability to read and interpret plumbing diagrams, architectural drawings, and installation specifications.
Proficiency with plumbing hand tools, finish tools, and power tools.
Ability to lead crews effectively, communicate clearly, and coordinate multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license for 3+ years and insurable under company insurance policy.
Physical ability to perform demanding fieldwork in varied environmental conditions.
Commitment to ongoing skill development and professional growth.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
Work is performed on active construction job sites during finish/trim phases.
Exposure to indoor/outdoor conditions including heat above 90°F, cold below 32°F, dust, humidity, and construction noise.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75+ pounds. • Work may occur in bathrooms, mechanical rooms, kitchens, and tight spaces.
Requires proper PPE and adherence to Stancil safety standards.
Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Hand tools: adjustable wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, levels, tape measures, basin wrenches, caulking tools, utility knives.
Power tools: drills, impacts, oscillating tools, and saws (after appropriate training).
Finish plumbing equipment: trap kits, supply lines, trim kits, sealants, specialty fixture tools, camera, jackhammers, plumbing (hydro) jetter, and sewer auger.
Jobsite equipment: ladders, carts, material-handling devices.
PPE: hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, boots, and high-visibility vest.
Company-issued technology as required (tablet, phone, or communication tools).
