Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting within a fast-growing, multi-site, multi-currency organization. This role is primarily focused on balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting accuracy, while also supporting process improvement initiatives across the accounting function.
The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial systems and controls. They thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable working with complexity across multiple entities and currencies.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments
Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding items
Support balance sheet integrity across multiple entities and currencies
Ensure accuracy of financial reporting outputs through detailed review and validation of financial data
Assist in managing multi-currency accounting processes, including currency conversion and related adjustments
Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results
Work closely with the Assistant Controller to improve accounting processes, controls, and reconciliation frameworks
Identify and support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within accounting workflows
Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure consistency and integrity of financial data
Assist with audit requests and documentation as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–6+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (US GAAP knowledge an asset)
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
Experience in a multi-currency and multi-entity environment strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
Process improvement mindset with interest in enhancing accounting systems and workflows
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Relevant du contrôleur adjoint, l’analyste financier(ère) senior joue un rôle clé dans l’assurance de l’exactitude, de l’exhaustivité et de l’intégrité de l’information financière au sein d’une organisation en forte croissance, multisite et multidevise. Ce rôle est principalement axé sur l’intégrité du bilan, les conciliations de comptes, les écritures comptables et la précision de l’information financière, tout en contribuant aux initiatives d’amélioration des processus au sein de la fonction comptable.
Le candidat idéal possède de solides compétences techniques en comptabilité et en analyse financière ainsi qu’une bonne compréhension des systèmes financiers et des contrôles internes. Il/elle évolue aisément dans un environnement dynamique et complexe impliquant plusieurs entités et devises.
Principales responsabilités
Préparer et comptabiliser les écritures de journal, provisions et ajustements de fin de mois
Effectuer et maintenir les conciliations de bilan en assurant l’exactitude, l’exhaustivité et la résolution rapide des écarts
Soutenir l’intégrité du bilan à travers plusieurs entités et devises
Assurer l’exactitude de l’information financière par des validations et analyses détaillées des données
Participer à la gestion des processus multidevises, incluant les conversions et ajustements liés aux taux de change
Contribuer aux activités de clôture mensuelle afin d’assurer la production de résultats financiers précis et dans les délais
Collaborer étroitement avec le contrôleur adjoint afin d’améliorer les processus comptables, contrôles et cadres de conciliation
Identifier et soutenir la mise en place d’améliorations de processus visant l’efficacité, l’automatisation et la standardisation des opérations comptables
Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes FP&A et comptabilité afin d’assurer la cohérence et l’intégrité des données financières
Participer aux demandes d’audit et à la préparation de la documentation requise
Qualifications
Baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance ou domaine connexe
3 à 6+ ans d’expérience en comptabilité, analyse financière ou rôle connexe
Bonne compréhension des principes comptables et de l’information financière (connaissance des normes US GAAP, un atout)
Expérience en conciliations de bilan, écritures comptables et processus de clôture mensuelle
Expérience en environnement multidevise et multisite fortement souhaitée
Maîtrise avancée d’Excel et expérience avec des systèmes ERP/comptables
Grande rigueur et souci du détail dans l’information financière
Esprit d’amélioration continue et intérêt pour l’optimisation des processus et systèmes comptables
