    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Patient Account Specialist is responsible for reviewing charges for accuracy and appropriate usage of ICD10, CPT, and HCPC codes to maximize reimbursement for EVMS Medical Group.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Review clinical documentation to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant charge capture prior to submission.</li>\n <li>Research, resolve, and respond to tasks in the professional billing workqueues.</li>\n <li>Assist providers and clinical staff with billing and coding questions and issues.</li>\n <li>Manually post charges in EPIC.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications and Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of ICD10/CPT coding in a medical office setting.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of insurance carrier rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Requires detail oriented, adaptability, independent thinking, and problem solving.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current CPC certification, one year experience in a medical billing and coding environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Location : Location</h2>US-VA-Norfolk",
