    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">As the Parts Manager at Butler Machinery, you play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for both external and internal customers. You&rsquo;ll lead the parts department, supporting and developing your team through hiring, training, and skill-building. Behind the scenes, you&rsquo;ll oversee machine technology ordering and product supply to ensure your team can meet customer needs efficiently. If you&#39;re ready to make an impact, apply today!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>General Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Takes an active role in providing a safe and healthy work environment within the department and store.&nbsp;</li><li>Develops business plans and departmental goals which promote growth and provide an opportunity for the department to stretch beyond the status quo.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitors actual performance against those goals and adjusts retail and operational parameters to provide the best chance of meeting plan.&nbsp;</li><li>Has primary responsibility to grow sales within the parts department and a secondary responsibility to assist in the sales growth of all departments within the store.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitors Key Performance Indicators and associated reports for variances. Using this data makes changes to operational practices to correct deficiencies and improve performance.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for creating an atmosphere within the department and the store that generates a high level of Customer Experience. This includes resolving customer disputes which ensure fair value for the customer and company.</li><li>Determines and reacts to the needs of the department relating to tooling, training, personnel levels, hours of service.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains close cooperation and communication with Service and Sales departments regarding their needs in order to maximize parts availability.</li><li>Maintains safe, clean, and orderly work environment which follow Caterpillar&rsquo;s contamination control procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Working Manager; fills in and performs the duties hourly staff has delegated and assigned to support day to day operations of the parts department.</li><li>Performs additional duties as assigned by Store Manager to include special projects and in-store and related to corporate initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs duties required of all hourly classifications to include counter, customer, and warehouse operations along with department management responsibilities.</li><li>Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of Butler.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;Supervisory Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Responsibility of all aspects of Parts Department Supervision, including but not limited to, recruiting talent, employee relations, individual development, performance measuring, coaching, technical training, disciplinary action and termination.&nbsp;</li><li>Manages parts department schedules considering the balance between customer satisfaction and employees work / life balance. This includes monitoring and controlling OT.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Prior supervisory experience or leadership training preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability in customer relations</li><li>Ability to work in a cooperative manner with all levels and all departments&nbsp;</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated business acumen, analytical mindset and proven decision maker.&nbsp;</li><li>Preference for operational knowledge of practices and procedures normally obtained through 5-7 years&rsquo; experience in parts department, warehousing, or purchasing position&nbsp;</li><li>Solid computer competencies&nbsp;</li><li>Must have strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills</li><li>Ability and willingness to work flexible hours</li><li>Must possess and maintain a clean driving record</li></ul><p><br></p><p>As a family business for three generations, we currently employ over 900 associates in 20 locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska.
