This FP Designer must work collaboratively with internal administrative/office personnel, external stakeholders, and union tradespeople in supporting and coordinating assigned construction activities to meet both project and company objectives.</span>  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"><br></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Essential Responsibilities:</span></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide sprinkler system design layouts for review and installation per NFPA, FM Global and Contract drawings plans and specs.</li>\n<li>Conduct hydraulic calculations  as required for system sizing.</li>\n<li>Provide material and fabrication list for purchasing.</li>\n<li>Conduct field survey if required for existing buildings.</li>\n<li>Work with field craft personnel on system installations.</li>\n<li>Participate in the coordination process with other trades as required.</li>\n<li>Work on a team.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Job Qualifications:<br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years experience in the Fire Protection or mechanical piping industries.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of a sprinkler system design software, Hydra Cad preferable, others acceptable.</li>\n<li>Revit use a plus.</li>\n<li>Computer literate in all MS programs</li>\n<li>High school education minimum</li>\n<li>Owns a vehicle with valid license</li>\n<li>Drug screening</li>\n<li>OSHA 10 a plus<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">ADA Physical Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Lifting no more than 20 pounds on an occasional basis.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Typically requires standing and walking for 6 hours of an 8-hour day (certain light jobs may require continuous sitting and entail the consistent use of either hand or foot controls).</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Frequently work in controlled building environments as well as in occasional extreme indoor and outdoor temperatures to include heat and cold, high, or low humidity, noisy and dusty environments.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Work with frequent interruptions during a work shift.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Information:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Arden Building Companies is the holding company for Arden Engineering Constructors, Corporate Mechanical of New England, Earthwise Energy Technologies, MJ Daly, and Unique Metal Works.
