You’ll also:&nbsp;</div><ul><li><!--block-->Provide bridge inspection and design services.</li><li><!--block-->Actively lead, develop and grow the structural engineering team.</li><li><!--block-->Be familiar with structural components.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Work cross functionally with the Transportation team on projects.</li></ul><div><!--block--><strong>What it takes<br></strong>Ideally, you’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You should have 7 to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures. You should be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin or demonstrate the ability to secure these licensures. Ideally, you’ll also:&nbsp;</div><ul><li><!--block-->Know construction methods and materials and code requirements.</li><li><!--block-->Know how to develop design and construction plans.</li><li><!--block-->Use structural engineering software.</li><li><!--block-->Speak and write well.</li><li><!--block-->Have strong analytical and organizational skills.</li><li><!--block-->Be a team player.</li></ul><div><!--block--><strong>What you’ll get<br></strong>You’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally at our progressive firm, which started in 1973.
