The Assistant E-Commerce Manager must be an effective communicator who can lead, coach, direct and teach others. The Assistant E-Commerce Manager will function as the department manager in his/her absence.</p>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Complete training in the E-Commerce department.</li>\n <li>Ability to display initiative and work with limited supervision.</li>\n <li>Must possess the ability to handle multiple orders within a given time frame.</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge with willingness to learn.</li>\n <li>Capable of following verbal directions, organized, self-confident, and committed to excellence.</li>\n <li>Ability to display initiative and work with limited supervision.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a scheduled based on the business needs of the store location.</li>\n <li>Authorized to work within the U.S. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the company.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong E-Commerce team.</li>\n <li>Achieve the highest associate morale in the industry by working in a style that is Respectful, Supportive and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO).</li>\n <li>Treat customers and associates in a courteous and friendly manner.</li>\n <li>Coordinating orders and delivery with shopping manager.</li>\n <li>Proper “on location” customer service and communication.</li>\n <li>Work efficiently and at an acceptable pace.</li>\n <li>Handling each picked transaction in an efficient and organized manner, assuring that each item is the finest and freshest the store has to offer.</li>\n <li>Ensure all new department associates receive proper review and indoctrination of job descriptions, goals, and objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensure fair and consistent treatment in administering discipline to promote high associate morale.</li>\n <li>Master the store layout for efficient picking procedures and demonstrate product knowledge.</li>\n <li>Pick, store and label products correctly, and arrange totes for easy access and proper delivery.</li>\n <li>Works carefully to reduce shrink and damage of merchandise.</li>\n <li>Effectively control proper storage limiting shrink and damaged goods.</li>\n <li>Retrieves and fills customer’s orders accurately and on time.</li>\n <li>Properly handle and maintain all computer hardware.</li>\n <li>Notifying the shopping manager of customer comments and complaints, security problems, incorrect prices and errors or problems with UPC codes and products problems (damages or out of stock).</li>\n <li>Ensure all wage and hour policies and regulations are adhered to.</li>\n <li>Assist department manager with work schedules and breaks; achieve payroll consistently by scheduling with budget.</li>\n <li>Follow proper hand washing, good sanitation, food storage and handling procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain a neat personal appearance including proper uniform and dress code.</li>\n <li>Practice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures.</li>\n <li>Practice careful product handling and proper temperature storage of every product picked.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Secondary Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that all customer orders are correctly charged, refunded and/or credited.</li>\n <li>Effectively communicating with customers out of stocks, substitutions, pick-up, and delivery schedule changes.</li>\n <li>Motivate associates by consistently praising, recognizing and involving.
