          "text": "<p><strong>Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray&#xa0;</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist / X-ray technologist to join our team. General duties include operating radiographic equipment to consistently obtain and produce optimal high-quality images for diagnostic imaging studies.&#xa0;The Radiologic Technologist approaches their tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.&#xa0; Adheres to the spirit of the SALUD mission statement while performing assigned duties.</p><p><strong>We offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>$25 to $32.50&#xa0;per hr.&#xa0;</strong></li><li><strong>Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Comprehensive Benefits Package includes:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Medical PPO Plan (Similar to ACA Exchange Platinum Benefit Coverage Levels)</strong><ul><li>Low employee premiums, especially given rich benefits</li><li><strong>$25 Primary Care Physician and Specialist Co-pays (in-network)</strong></li><li>Low deductibles and co-insurance</li><li><strong>Free provider visits and services at all Salud facilities</strong></li><li><strong>Preferred prescription pricing at Salud pharmacies</strong></li></ul></li><li><strong>Dental PPO plan</strong><ul><li><strong>Includes Employee Discounts at All Salud Dental Facilities</strong></li></ul></li><li><strong>Vision</strong></li><li><strong>Generous vacation accrual</strong></li><li><strong>10 Paid Holidays per year (includes&#xa0;2&#xa0;Floating Holidays and paid Birthday)&#xa0;</strong></li><li><strong>Up to 8 Paid accrued Sick Days per year</strong></li><li><strong>Defined Contribution Pension Plan.&#xa0;&#xa0; Salud contributes 5% of your compensation each month (no matching employee contribution is required…you receive the contribution no matter what).&#xa0; Employees who have worked at least 1,000 hours within a 12-month period are eligible.</strong></li><li><strong>403b Retirement savings plan.&#xa0; You can contribute pre-tax or after-tax (Roth) towards your retirement savings.</strong></li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts</li><li>Basic Life and AD&amp;D</li><li>Supplemental Life and AD&amp;D</li><li>Short-Term &amp; Long-Term Disability</li><li>Accident &amp; Critical Illness Insurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul><p><strong>&#xa0;&#xa0;Our Mission is&#xa0;to provide a quality, integrated healthcare home to the communities we serve</strong></p><p><strong>Supervision Received:</strong></p><p>Works under the direct supervision of the Center Operations Director or Associate Center Director.&#xa0; Works closely with the Medical Radiology Safety Officer to ensure the procedures are followed.</p><p><strong>Specific Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Produces diagnostic images using medical radiographic equipment so that medical providers can properly diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.</li><li>Maintains professionalism and understands limitations of their scope and the need for ongoing discretion by not disclosing any information or reacting to what they are seeing on the image(s), making a diagnosis, sharing any personal impressions, or sharing any diagnostic information with a patient.</li><li>Explains procedure to patients and refers them back to their medical provider for diagnosis/exam results.</li><li>Positions patients properly to obtain quality images and if warranted covers patients with lead shields to protect body parts from unnecessary radiation exposure.</li><li>Works in conjunction with Medical Providers, Dental Providers, Behavioral Health Providers and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated health care.</li><li>Acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable populations by ensuring that patients are fully informed and comfortable with their visit to Salud</li><li>Follows procedures for the electronic health records system.</li><li>Assisting patients with/or completing required out-patient forms.</li><li>Logging all x-rays performed in proper on the same day of order.</li><li>Maintaining supply requisition forms and follow clinics policy on ordering of supplies.</li><li>Keep an accurate account of all record-keeping concerning x-ray discrepancies and report to supervisor or quality team staff member.</li><li>Keep all x-ray equipment in a clean state and report any problems or failures of equipment to supervisor.&#xa0; Maintain appropriate forms relating to equipment preventative maintenance or repair.&#xa0;</li><li>Order supplies as necessary for the x-ray department after securing the signature of approval of the supervisor.</li><li>Enters CPT codes for procedures per provider orders.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
