And throughout the process, our goal is always the same – to provide reliable commercial mechanical systems and services with excellence and integrity.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>The Vice President – Plumbing Division is responsible for managing operational performance for the Plumbing Division.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Member of local Plumbers Union / JCH Contributing to Union benefits</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Annual Salary range = $175k to $185k plus union benefits</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>NOT a member of local Plumbers Union</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Annual Salary range = $190k to $220k plus Standard JCH benefits</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the Plumbing Division’s estimating and project management teams through the entire project cycle from bid to project delivery.</li>\n <li>Serve as a strategic partner to the J.C. Higgins CEO & President, operating independently, effectively, and within the timelines of agreed upon initiatives.</li>\n <li>Lead the Plumbing department in developing the processes/procedures necessary to ensure operational and financial performance.</li>\n <li>Prepare for and participate in monthly project reviews with CEO, President, CFO, Controller, and project managers to evaluate job performance, assess risks and develop action plans. </li>\n <li>Motivate and advance the Plumbing department to ensure alignment with the Company’s operational vision and able to empower direct reports to perform at even higher levels. Instill an attitude of service in the Plumbing department and organization. </li>\n <li>Practice and promote EMCOR and J.C. Higgin’s Code of Ethics, “Leading with Character” in conducting business – both internally and externally. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>The Vice President – Plumbing Division is responsible for managing, directing, and leading the Plumbing department, which includes Estimators, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other administrative support staff.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements/Preferred Education and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10-15 years Plumbing/Mechanical industry experience that includes progressive management positions in the Plumbing/Mechanical contracting industry.</li>\n <li>Journeyman/Master Plumbing experience.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with construction contract language.</li>\n <li>Experience with assembling Budgets based on conceptual plans / schematics.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with construction means and methods.</li>\n <li>Understanding of principles, methods, and techniques of plumbing/mechanical, architectural, civil, and electrical engineering.</li>\n <li>Evaluate proposals from vendors and/or subcontractors for compliance with scope of work.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Computer Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Microsoft Office expertise, including Excel skills; experience with estimating and schedule software a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Attributes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to initiate actions and to deliver on commitments in a timely, accurate manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with the highest level of integrity and ethical standards.</li>\n <li>Ability to improve processes, analyze, and solve problems on a proactive, strategic, and tactical level.</li>\n <li>Commitment to Company values of: integrity; discipline; transparency; mutual respect and trust; commitment to safety, and teamwork, </li>\n <li>Strategic approach with ability to understand local markets and specific aspects of business.</li>\n <li>Executive level written and verbal communications skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well and contribute as a partner in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead people and get results through influence.</li>\n <li>Technical skills in accounting and finance within the level of experience for this position.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of employees, government agencies, trade unions, general and subcontractors, and suppliers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-CS1</p>\n<p>#ecs</p>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
