Partnered with retirement homes and long-term care facilities across Nova Scotia, work is practically guaranteed.</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span>Note:</span><span> </span>Also open to RN, LPN and CCA students</p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span>Schedule: </span>Casual, PT, FT positions available</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>8- 12 hour shifts</li>\r\n<li>Days and evenings<br><br></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><span>Responsibilities</span></p>\r\n<p>· Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing and grooming</p>\r\n<p>· Maintain confidentiality concerning residents, staff and organizational information</p>\r\n<p>· Work within the NSAHO Scope of Practice</p>\r\n<p>· Provide companionship and emotional support to residents</p>\r\n<p>· Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility infection control policies<br><br></p>\r\n<p><span>Qualifications</span></p>\r\n<p>· Clear Criminal Record check and vulnerable sectors check from within the last 6 months</p>\r\n<p>· Current Standard First-Aid and CPR certification</p>\r\n<p>· Successful completion or enrollment in a CCA/PSW program</p>\r\n<p>· Registered with the CCA Registry</p>\r\n<p>· Effective communication, both written and verbal in English</p>\r\n<p>· Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties</p>\r\n<p>· Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record</p>",
