Your mission is to get involved with delivering outstanding VOD, live event, and linear streaming experiences to millions of viewers across our US, UK and EU services - including Peacock, SkyShowtime, NOW &amp; WOW.&#xa0; &#xa0;</p><p>You’ll collaborate daily with colleagues across the US, UK and beyond – excellent communication skills are essential. Our team specializes in large-scale Multi-Content Delivery Network design and operations, performance telemetry and analytics, selection &amp; interfacing with content origins via multiple workflows - dynamic ad insertion, manifest manipulation and integrating new player technologies.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop &amp; maintain new and existing software systems &amp; features as a Go and/or Python specialist, with projects primarily aligned to video content delivery at scale.</li><li>Ensure a consistent, diligent approach to peer review of code and configuration change within sensible, maintained repository structures and CI/CD pipelined deployment. &#xa0;</li><li>Author design documents and collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practice.</li><li>Working closely with our SRE team to ensure deployed systems are reliable, resilient, scalable, and perform optimally, using common, modern technologies.</li><li>Make best use of our observability systems &amp; advanced analytics to surface issues, drive diagnosis and improvements. &#xa0;</li><li>Effectively handle multiple priorities ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results in a fast-paced, agile environment.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field is required.</li><li>3+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in Go and/or Python.</li><li>Proficiency with deploying software to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) using containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)</li><li>Skilled with using software repositories, CI/CD pipelines and test automation. &#xa0;</li><li>Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for ensuring scalability and reliability in cloud environments. &#xa0;</li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies, eg scrum and kanban.&#xa0; &#xa0;</li><li>A flair for communicating clearly via design document, text, voice and code to a wide variety of nationalities.</li><li>Knowledge and/or production exposure to using CDNs to deliver streaming media is advantageous or full training can be provided.</li><li>Experience with AI tooling for code creation, reviews, testing and related software development workflows</li></ul><p><strong>Hybrid: </strong>This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
