    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>General Job Description:</strong><i><strong>&nbsp;</strong></i></p><p>This position is primarily responsible for successfully modeling and coordinating a project from start-to-finish utilizing the latest technologies, ACCO’s Virtual Construction Standards and Industry Best Practices to achieve a high level of quality and efficiency.</p><div><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p></div><ul><li>Perform and/or lead all functions of the Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing detailing efforts on assigned projects to facilitate productive, safe and cost effective installations.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to streamline layout/routing, reduce fitting usage and recognize design flaws.</li><li>Recognize high value opportunities for efficiency gains and reduce risk.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient at reading, understanding and extracting necessary information from contract documents (plans, specifications, submittals, etc.).</li><li>Strong skills in 3D Revit / 3D CAD modeling and coordination.</li><li>Attend and engage in regular project coordination meetings, communicate and collaborate with the project BIM Coordination team and Management team to provide viable solutions to project challenges.</li><li>Create layout point files for Trimble and Topcon.</li><li>Assist detailers on various aspects of assigned projects as needed.</li><li>Constant communication with the ACCO Project management team (Project Manager, Field General Foreman, fabrication shop, partnering contractors and external building trades.&nbsp;</li><li>Post models into client’s FTP sites, maintaining logs, creating RFI documentation, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Represent ACCO’s Culture, Core Values and best interests in a professional manner at all times.</li><li>Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and/or upper management.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):</u></strong></p><ul><li>5+ Years of related field experience.</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Experience in Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing trades.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.</li><li>Current proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Autodesk BIM 360 Docs platforms.</li><li>Proficient in Bluebeam Revu, BOX and Smartsheet.</li><li>Proficient in the Google Workspace: Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Forms.</li><li>Proficient in the Microsoft Office Workspace: Word and Excel.</li><li>Proficient in the application of applicable local, state and international building codes.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><p><strong>Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required:</strong></p></div><ul><li>Proficient with Dynamo, Forge, Python, Revit API, C#, VB.net, F#.</li><li>Trade School preferred.</li><li>Proficient in Spanish.</li></ul><div><p><strong>ACCO Competencies:</strong></p></div><ul><li><strong>Proactivity / Initiative:</strong>&nbsp;Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision.</li><li><strong>Perseverance:</strong>&nbsp;Shows the wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity.</li><li><strong>Insight:</strong>&nbsp;The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.</li><li><strong>Engagement:</strong>&nbsp;Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people.</li><li><strong>Teamwork:</strong>&nbsp;The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner.</li><li><strong>Big Picture:</strong>&nbsp;Understands and contributes to organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy.&nbsp;&nbsp;On a personal level has independently developed a vision for short- and long-term career success.</li><li><strong>Motivation / Dedication:</strong>&nbsp;Commits to excellence in pursuing unselfish goals.&nbsp;&nbsp;Initiates action with collective goals takes responsibility, and shows personal humility.</li><li><strong>Technical Curiosity / Willingness to Learn:</strong>&nbsp;Interest in seeking out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feed, back; demonstrating an openness to learning and change.</li><li><strong>Problem-Solver:</strong>&nbsp;Ability to identify, analyze, and solve a problem in support of personal, group, department, or organizational objectives.</li></ul><div><p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p></div><p>(The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
