          "text": "<p>As a&#xa0;<strong>Project Surveyor</strong>, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and production of various types of land survey drawings and map substitutes from inception to completion with minimal supervision and direction.</p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Plans and ensures the execution of land surveys and other survey-related documents; signs and seals surveys</li><li>Interprets survey field notes to prepare certified boundary surveys, topographic surveys, right-of-way control surveys, and other survey-related documents</li><li>Process and verify the accuracy and sufficiency of collected data</li><li>Provide everyday supervision of the assigned survey field crew on quality and survey methodology, and gather all necessary information needed to meet the survey requirements</li><li>Assist the VP of Surveying with business development, client management, and the preparation of proposals</li><li>Prepares and maintains project progress and status reports, letters, files, and other documentation related to projects</li><li>Analyzes and interprets technical information and/or property descriptions for surveying or related operations</li><li>Provides land boundary and surveying-related expert testimony in court cases</li><li>Utilize Civil3D, Trimble Business Center, and other industry-related software as needed to complete projects</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Professional Surveyor and Mapper license.&#xa0;<strong>(preferred)&#xa0;</strong></li><li>Minimum of four years of experience of all aspects of surveying and mapping.&#xa0;<strong>(required)</strong></li><li>BS degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Geomatics, or equivalent work experience in survey or heavy civil environment&#xa0;<strong>(preferred)&#xa0;</strong></li><li>A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to our company insurance provider is a condition of initial and continued employment&#xa0;<strong>(required)</strong></li><li>Ability to work in a safe manner and obey safety regulations at all times</li><li>Proficient with latest version of Civil3D and other surveying and mapping software</li><li>Proficient in running and adjusting various survey instruments including GPS equipment, levels, and robotic total stations with electronic data capabilities</li><li>Proficient in technical math, including Geometry and Trigonometry</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, Trimble business center, GIS and GPS</li><li>Extensive knowledge of survey and mapping principles, practices, standards, procedures and project management</li><li>Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of photogrammetric mapping, LiDAR and other remote sensing</li><li>Must be highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet fixed deadlines on a timely basis and have the ability to work both as an individual contributor and within a team environment</li><li>Ability to travel as needed</li><li>Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy</li></ul>",
