    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The <strong>US Head of Litigation &amp; Recovery </strong>(L&amp;R) is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of all workout, litigation, bankruptcy, repossession, and recovery activities across the United States portfolio, encompassing both small ticket and large ticket accounts. padding-left: 24px;\"><li>Provide overall leadership and management of the US Litigation &amp; Recovery function to meet customer, partner and internal expectations</li><li>Lead and manage a team of 6-8 direct reports, with a total team near 50 members on as well as the relationships with third-party collection agencies, repossession firms, and outside counsel.</li><li>Build, coach, and lead high-performing teams across multiple geographic locations and operating systems, fostering an inclusive and values-driven culture.</li><li>Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Sales, Program Management, Foreclosure, and Global Business Units on recovery strategies and litigation matters.</li><li>Develop, manage, and adhere to departmental budgets while coordinating resources effectively.</li><li>Drive operational excellence by standardizing processes, leveraging technology, and continuously improving workflows and controls.</li><li>Lead transformational initiatives and change management efforts, including organizational integrations and alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.</li><li>Set account strategies and escalation paths, including assignment to Field Portfolio Managers, third-party agencies, repossession partners, and outside legal counsel.</li><li>Oversee all litigation, workout, foreclosure, repossession, and bankruptcy matters to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and internal policies.</li><li>Negotiate, settle, and resolve distressed accounts in a manner that mitigates risk while maximizing recoveries, cures, and overall portfolio performance.</li><li>Oversee provisioning, write-offs, write-downs, and loss management processes in accordance with policy and governance requirements.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely Loan Strategy reporting, driving strong quality in alignment with Global C&amp;R polices and expectations.</li><li>Collaborate with Compliance and the Suspicious Investigation Unit on investigations and recovery actions as appropriate.</li></ul><p><strong>All members enjoy</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.</li><li>Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health &amp;
