This position will work closely with drivers, crews, and applicants to maintain the highest safety standards.</p><p data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1094\">Good Greek is a leader in the industry, offering competitive compensation and benefits! <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1092\">APPLY TO LEARN MORE</strong></p><hr data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1099\"><h3 data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1146\">Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</h3><ul data-start=\"1147\" data-end=\"2213\"><li data-pasted=\"true\">Inspect vehicles or other equipment for evidence of abuse, damage, or mechanical malfunction</li><li>Inspect vehicles or equipment to ensure compliance with rules, standards, or regulations</li><li>Examine transportation vehicles, equipment, or systems to detect damage, wear, or malfunction</li><li>Conduct vehicle or transportation equipment tests, using diagnostic equipment</li><li>Inspect repairs to transportation vehicles or equipment to ensure that repair work was performed properly</li><li>Prepare reports on investigations or inspections and actions taken</li><li>Issue notices and recommend corrective actions when infractions or problems are found</li><li>Investigate complaints regarding safety violations</li><li>Walk the lot throughout the shift clearing any debris</li><li>Perform minor maintenance to fleet including but not limited to, changing headlights and wipers &nbsp;</li><li>Support warehouse operations</li><li>Other duties as directed by management/ownership</li></ul><hr data-start=\"2215\" data-end=\"2218\"><h3 data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2257\">Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</h3><ul data-start=\"2258\" data-end=\"2816\"><li data-start=\"2258\" data-end=\"2321\"><p data-start=\"2260\" data-end=\"2321\">Working knowledge of the truckload transportation industry.</p></li><li data-start=\"2322\" data-end=\"2382\"><p data-start=\"2324\" data-end=\"2382\">Solid understanding of FMCSA and DOT safety regulations.</p></li><li data-start=\"2383\" data-end=\"2461\"><p data-start=\"2385\" data-end=\"2461\">Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify risks and hazards.</p></li><li data-start=\"2462\" data-end=\"2515\"><p data-start=\"2464\" data-end=\"2515\">Excellent communication and documentation skills.</p></li><li data-start=\"2516\" data-end=\"2591\"><p data-start=\"2518\" data-end=\"2591\">Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.</p></li><li data-start=\"2592\" data-end=\"2645\"><p data-start=\"2594\" data-end=\"2645\">Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p></li><li data-start=\"2646\" data-end=\"2709\"><p data-start=\"2648\" data-end=\"2709\">Ability to respond to urgent safety situations when needed.</p></li><li data-start=\"2710\" data-end=\"2763\"><p data-start=\"2712\" data-end=\"2763\">Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.</p></li><li data-start=\"2764\" data-end=\"2816\"><p data-start=\"2766\" data-end=\"2816\">Dependable, trustworthy, and highly responsible.</p></li></ul><hr data-start=\"2818\" data-end=\"2821\"><h3 data-start=\"2823\" data-end=\"2847\">Required Experience:</h3><ul data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"3037\"><li data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"2939\"><p data-start=\"2850\" data-end=\"2939\">Minimum of <strong data-start=\"2861\" data-end=\"2884\">2 years&rsquo; experience</strong> in transportation safety, compliance, or inspection.</p></li><li data-start=\"2940\" data-end=\"3037\"><p data-start=\"2942\" data-end=\"3037\">Experience with driver evaluations, vehicle inspections, and regulatory compliance preferred.</p></li></ul><p>*Good Greek and our affiliates are equal opportunity employer.
