These include mobile medical, event marketing, community outreach and accessibility applications. Starting with advanced design capabilities, skilled craftsmen in a wide variety of specialty areas tailor vehicles to meet the exact needs of each application.</p><p><strong>Primary Objective of Position:&nbsp;</strong>Plans, routes, installs and repairs various electrical components on custom coaches according to order specifications. Identifies electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.</p><p><strong>Key Areas of Responsibility</strong></p><ul><li>Design electrical layout of RV with blueprints as needed</li><li>Install, wire and test lighting, HVAC, transfer switches, converters, inverters, TV, satellite and WIFI systems</li><li>Wire AC and DC load centers</li><li>Rewire and modify wiring including: 12V/110V outlets, switches and appliances according to National Electric Code</li><li>Power up large generators ranging from 3KW to 24KW or above as required</li><li>Run and test communication cables</li><li>Run diagnostic or startup software</li><li>Familiar with Volta Power Systems</li><li>Perform work under direct supervision and handles basic problems and refers more complex problems to higher level staff</li><li>Possess beginning knowledge of the subject matter</li><li>May interact directly with clients for training or troubleshooting purposes</li><li>Consistently works with an eye toward safety and continuous improvement for self and others</li><li>Other responsibilities may be assigned based on business need</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Key Attributes&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Able to read and interpret floorplans, layouts and technical diagrams</li><li>Mechanically inclined and is familiar with basic hand tools</li><li>Ability to think critically &ndash; recognizes connections, translates goals into action, uses strong judgment to make choices in alignment with strategy and company culture/values</li><li>Self-motivated with good communication skills and with good analytical/problem-solving ability</li><li>Fast learner with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting</li><li>Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability; thrives in a changing and/or fast paced environment</li><li>Possesses a strong sense of personal responsibility and commitment to work outcomes - particularly toward quality and safety</li><li>Comfortable working in tight quarters</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED required</li><li>Previous relevant electrical experience preferred</li><li>Familiar with National Electric Code standards</li><li>Experience with installation and troubleshooting of 12V, 110V-480V, 3 phase, and CAT 5/6 circuits</li><li>Understanding of multiplexed wiring systems and CAD experience preferred</li><li>HVAC experience preferred but not required</li><li>Ability to use or be trained in on Quality Control Test Methods (QCTM).
