    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <p>This position is responsible for the technical application, scrubbing cases, assisting the physician from cardiac catheterization procedures performed on the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient in order to determine appropriate patient treatment.&nbsp; The Cardiovascular Technician is expected to adhere to the HHS policy, procedures, values and standards.&nbsp; The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s policies and procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <p>The primary focus of the CCL is, but is not limited to, the following:&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>Diagnostic cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>Balloon angioplasty and other interventional cardiovascular procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>IABP, temporary and permanent Pacemakers, and ICD Implants.&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>Cardiac Cath Lab radiographic application&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n <p>This position is a 13-week assignment.</p>\n</div>",
