This is NOT a team coaching position. This position you are working on individual players skills and concepts.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">If you haven't played or coached at the HS Varsity level or its equivalent no need to apply for this. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Whether you're still playing competitive hockey or you are a working professional in another industry but looking to help coach and develop the next generation. This position is a great way for someone who has played or coached hockey at the HS Varsity level or above to give back and get on the ice and coach players in the MN metro area. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Statement of Job Purposes and Objectives:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Responsible for providing high quality coaching and skill instruction while building relationships with the players. This position you are a direct report to the MAP/FHIT instructors as well as a role model to our members. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Major Job Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Responsible for assisting the lead coach on the ice. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Give proper and in-depth feedback and instruction to the players you are working with. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to demonstrate drills or skills at the appropriate level. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Follow the specific practice plan to ensure that each focus during a practice is given enough time for the athlete to apply what has been taught.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Maintain the integrity of the program by providing a high level of coaching and skill development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to coach skill development such as speed and strength, skating stride, and stick handling/shooting technique. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Help with on ice setup and take down.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">You must currently be able to work in the USA</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>STMA is a seasonal campus running in the summer the below dates and hours.  </p>\n<p>June - Aug</p>\n<p>Monday - Thursday</p>\n<p>7:00am-3:30pm</p>",
