    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Long Prairie Packing Company LLC,</strong> an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a <strong>Lead Person Barn </strong>at our Long Prairie, MN plant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hours</strong></p>\n<p>8-11+ hours/day, 5-6 days/weekHiring for day shift ONLY</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As our <strong>Lead Person Barn, </strong>you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee operations to provide day-to-day control of assigned department activities according to schedules, priorities, production flow, and processing specifications to ensure product ion efficiencies are met hourly. Evaluate department work performance and inform supervisor if action is needed.</li>\n <li>Complete required paperwork.</li>\n <li>Practice humane animal handling techniques.</li>\n <li>Move cattle from pen to pen for ante-mortem inspection, check water troughs, and verify cattle counts per load.</li>\n <li>Initial back of Ante-mortem card verifying cattle count.</li>\n <li>Highlight front of card verifying all info is correct and signed by USDA.</li>\n <li>Separate slow/challenged cattle.</li>\n <li>Transport/move deads; use skid loader to clean pens.</li>\n <li>Maintain organization in daily tasks and complete paperwork.</li>\n <li>NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (Required):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.</li>\n <li><p>Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). </p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. </p></li>\n <li>Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required.
