    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Maintenance Technician </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform preventative and repair maintenance work to ensure the hotel is maintained according to established quality and sustainability standards while treating guests in a warm and friendly manner.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Growth Path</strong></p>\n<p>Engineer - Engineering Supervisor - Chief Engineer</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Focus</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders related to replacing and repairing ceiling tiles, sheet-rock and wallpaper. </li>\n <li>Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.</li>\n <li>Paint designated areas and items.</li>\n <li>Replace basic electrical fixtures, light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.</li>\n <li>Perform minor plumbing functions.</li>\n <li>Focus on guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. </li>\n <li>Follow Service Recovery Guidelines.</li>\n <li>Maintain the curb appeal including but not limited to snow removal, lawn care, gardening and trash removal.</li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.<strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Background and Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous maintenance experience or equivalent training required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Context</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends and alternate shifts.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>This property is a part of the Echelon Luxury & Lifestyle division of HHM Hotels. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>HHM Hotels is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
